AEM offers a range of high-quality stainless steel PSIg (gauge style) pressure sensors for various applications. These pressure sensors are designed to measure pressure relative to atmospheric pressure. When not exposed to any pressure, gauge-style sensors will read 0 psig as they reference pressure above atmospheric pressure. They are commonly used for measuring oil pressure, fuel pressure, brake pressure, nitrous pressure, and more.
AEM provides stainless steel PSIg sensors in different pressure ranges, including 100, 150, 500, 1,000, and 2,000 PSIg. The specific sensor you choose depends on the requirements of your application and the level of accuracy needed for pressure measurement.
To better understand the difference between brass and stainless steel pressure sensors, it can be helpful to think of them in terms of measurement tools. In this analogy, a brass pressure sensor can be compared to a ruler, which provides a good reference for measuring distance but may not offer the highest level of precision. Similarly, a brass pressure sensor is suitable for applications where you need a general reference or information about the pressure being measured. For example, a brass pressure sensor can be used for a boost gauge to provide information about manifold pressure, but it may not be suitable for ECU calibration where precise details are crucial.
On the other hand, a stainless steel pressure sensor is like a caliper, which offers a higher degree of accuracy and precision for measurements. Stainless steel pressure sensors are recommended when you require exact details of the pressure being measured. These sensors are commonly used for providing information to the engine control unit (ECU), where calibration and crucial pressure information are necessary for optimal engine performance.
By selecting the appropriate pressure sensor, whether brass or stainless steel, you can ensure accurate and reliable pressure measurements based on the specific needs of your application.

Orders over $500 will ship insured and over $1,000 with signature and insurance in order to guarantee delivery. Orders over $1000 may not be able to ship to a different address not listed as the billing address or confirm payment address from the form of payment used. Orders with suite numbers, different billing, or apartment numbers will require signature if valued over $100.
All international orders outside of the USA are subject to duties and taxes fees per your countries jurisdiction and determined by customs.

Processing and logistics on in stock international orders can take up to 7 business days to process & ship.
In stock, non special order items can be returned within 30 days of the product arriving to your house or place of work.
Returns will NOT be accepted on Clearance Items, Final Sales, Special Orders, Opened, Installed, Incomplete, or Otherwise Used Products. In order to initiate a return, an RMA number must be requested and approved via e-mail. All returns will be subject to a 20% restocking fee minus complete shipping cost (roundtrip).
Any processed orders that have not shipped will incur a 6% cancelation refund fee unless the product was not available to ship within a timely manner. No fee will be incurred if used as store credit.
